This is a simple and straight forward book…and it actually helps students formulate questions and sentences. I’m working on it with my 7 year old…it is making writing more logical and less scary.
It is short too but packs a good punch!

This is my fourth review on yet another Scholastic book.
These books are great! I have complained in the past on how I wish these books had more pages, but maybe it’s good the way they are, because it will ensure your child does not feel overwhelemed.
My child looks forward to these books (Scholastic), and he learns so quickly without even knowing he is being taught. The pages look fun and colorful, they keep it short and straight to the point. This is a great way to teach your child or reinforce what they are already learning in school.

This gave somthing real concreate and relevant to work with with my son.
His writting ability is weak and we actually go to a tutor once a week – but this give us parents something constructive to accomplish with our son between sessions.
I recomend it if you are not a gifted tutor but you want to make progress with your child.
