Thanks Amazone for shipping the book fast. Book is excellent. I have not started reading the book yet. I heard good remarks from previous users.

The famous great Q source for step 3, of course and needless to mention its not a replace to usmleworld , but it is a very good supplement
the Qs are well written in a true exam style with very good explanations , the length if the Qs is optimal , this is not an issue for step 1 or 2, but it is a real issue for step 3, so train yourself for the marathon, yep it is a marathon, i look to step 1 as a 100 meters sprint and step 2 as a 400 meters sprint but step 3 mmmm a marathon, so be train for it as much as you can.
i think it is even better than the on-line Q Bank (Kaplan)

This was a great purchase – really tough questions with thorough explanations – in contrast to some other review books with insufficient explanations. My favorite feature was that it explained all the choices in the answer instead of just the correct one, so you could know why your response was wrong or right. I was impressed with Kaplan’s book.
To add to this review, I just took Step 3 on May 7 and 8. I thought that this book was really true to the questions on the actual test in length, style, and difficulty level. I also used appleton and lange’s question book and would not recommend it since it is way, way, way easier than the actual exam. I hope I pass, and if I had to, God forbid, do it over again, I would study even more kaplan questions and get more resources to prep for CSS.

This book was a great resource is preparing for Step 3. The questions on Step 3 are different than Steps 1 or 2, requiring a different approach. The explanations are great. I found 4 ridiculous questions that were either way out of date or were so silly that they would never appear on the test. It seemed that about 10% of the questions on Step 3 were almost identical to this book. I only wish there were scenarios similar to the simulated pateints found at the end of the 2nd day.
